Why is ‘The Devils & The Details’ the way to enhance students’ learning, hence helping them to become future-proof?

Imagine a system where a balance between teamwork and independence is achieved, where students can manage their tasks and projects in a way that can enhance their learning experience. Inspired by the popular game “The Devils and The Details”, we present to you a groundbreaking task-management tool that brings this vision to life — “The Humans and The Details” (also known as THTD).
Now you might be thinking, how exactly does this so-called “sytem” work? Well, think of each student as a chef in a restaurant, and their goal is to have a successful week by making meals and managing their time effectively.
In this restaurant, there’s a board that keeps track of each chef’s progress. On the board, there are two bars for each chef: one for meals that require the help of other chefs and one for meals that can be prepared individually. Everytime a chef completes a dish, they earn points. Of course, number of points they earn for each task can vary, depending on the complexity or difficulty of preparing different dishes.
The ultimate goal for every chef is to fill both bars entirely by the end of the week. To achieve their aim, the chefs need to manage their time wisely and balance their efforts between collaboration tasks and individual tasks. At the start of a new week, the bars reset back to 0, giving the chefs a fresh start and a chance to improve their performance. However, if a chef fails to fill either one of the bars, or even both, a warning is issued. Three warnings and the restaurant will enroll the chef in a skill-building workshop. This workshop brings in industry professionals, experts, or experienced mentors who can provide practical training, tips, and techniques to enhance the chef’s collaboration and task management skills.
The Humans and The Details not only encourages students to develop essential skills such as collaboration, time/task management, and critical thinking (which can improve their performance and in turn, reflect positively on the school’s academic outcomes), but also ensures an engaging learning experience. Through a gamified approach to task management, we can motivate students to actively participate and make the process much more enjoyable and engaging for them as well.
In a world where AI is growing and popularising rapidly, it is crucial for students to achieve a good level of efficiency. That’s why this new task-management tool is the new way of learning. Absorbing knowledge and memorising text will not help prepare these students for a future where AI is dominant and reshaping the way we work, which is why many schools are already starting to adopt this new method.
Unlock the future of education with “The Humans and The Details” — revolutionising task management to empower students with essential skills for success in an AI-driven world. Together, let’s shape the next generation of future-ready leaders!

The newest creation of our company called the DeVails (short form for devil and details) Is our way to increase student productivity and enjoyment. Our idea for this experiment appeared in our mind when we visited a school and many of the students did not collaborate when they worked as a group.
Students love games, we all know that, but what they love more is being competitive. And we put those 2 things together in our online product, while not harming relationships between classmates. As we all used to be students, we must understand the feeling of working in a group with no one helping. Our creation is a time and accuracy reward based system. This could be displayed in a Tv or hologram across the classroom, where in a group project, they would have to spend a lesson creating a step by step map of all the steps to create an ideal result. For example, if your example was an architecture project, where you had to build a model for the Petronas twin towers. You would input all of the steps allocated to each group member, the ideal result, and the time set for this step. On the day of the project, these tasks would appear for each person and you would have to complete these tasks in the fastest time while being accurate. If you don’t complete these tasks, it would be displayed to the teacher and would lower the grade for the people who didn’t do it. The amount of marks deducted would be according to the amount of tasks you didn’t do. Vise versa, if the task has been done to an ideal result or in quick speed, you will earn better grades personally.
DeVails has already been implemented in some of the most famous schools in the world, including the school of Nerds and the School of Rogue-Like Enjoyers. We think that this will increase the motivation and drive to do their work.
DeVails can of course be applied in different places, if someone has bad behavior. Instead of sending them to detention or expelling them, you could set them tasks to do. A great example is if someone has been extremely rude to the staff around the school, you could set disciplinary tasks like being polite to every staff member they see. DeVails is much better than stopping their behavior for a short period of time, but rather building a habit for them to act better.
Since our lives are so reliant on the act of others, you won’t want them to be useless will you? Now is the perfect chance to adopt DeVails to improve the collaboration of your school.
